THIS YEAR’S THEME

What is the true meaning of ‘FREEDOM’?

Youths today are conditioned to believe freedom means living a life free of restrictions. But does such an unreined life liberate us?

Having boundaries doesn’t mean life imprisoned. They are there to guide and protect, for without fences, we could easily walk off the edge of the cliff.

In this year’s AKYCi , we will seek the true meaning of freedom – material, emotional and spiritual – and how to escape the evil temptations of life. Learn to recognise the true success, and set yourself free.

    TAILORED MODULES

    RELEVANT & IMPACTFUL

    ENGAGE IN EDIFYING DISCUSSIONS

At AKYCi, we encourage participants to speak up, get involved and embolden themselves to engage with our speakers.

    LEADERSHIP & CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Participants will be exposed to the spirit of leadership by being a good listener and achieve teamwork by being a good follower. Each activity is designed to promote effective communication skills when dealing with team members of different personalities and characters.

    DAY-TO-DAY ROUTINE

Monitored and facilitated by our trainers, we help every participant adopt positive daily adab rooted in the Islamic ethos such as punctuality in performing the salah, praying in jama’ah, care for the environment, cleanliness, hygiene, collective responsibility towards one another, and instil in them these values as a way of life long after the camp ends.

    TEAMWORK & COMMUNICATION

Participants are trained to respond to today’s highly competitive, influential and rapidly-changing environment via various modules, working in groups while engaging in exciting age-appropriate games and challenges.
